The TCM is not required on any of these shift controllers, factory floor shifter is required. Allows full 1-4 manual shifting of you Aisin-Warner transmission. Will hold in any gear and allow any gear starts.
Attention: On the newer XJ's, '96+ with OBD-II ECU's using a Rail or a Baja shifter will cause your CEL code light to be on. This can cause issues if you have vehicle inspections you must pass.

Baja Shifter
This is a heavy duty version of the Rail Shifter with solid gates to prevent over travel when shifting.
Cost is $180.00 shipped in US. Same simple install as the Rail, connects with 4 wires, the 2 solenoid wires, a fused 12V+, and a 12V- ground and you are ready to shift.
Used in conjunction with factory mechanical shifter. The housing inluding shift gate plate is 4"w X 6"l X 1-3/16"tall. Shift pattern can be from front to back or back to front.
